As part of the Iowa Democratic Party’s ongoing efforts to protect voting rights in the State of Iowa, the IDP will be hosting a Know Your Rights Webinar on Monday, October 30 at 7:00 to educate Iowans about the new Voter I.D. laws.

The webinar will feature several prominent voting rights advocates, led by President of Let America Vote Jason Kander, Des Moines Attorney and IDP 3rd District Chair Bill Brauch, and SCC Voting & Voter Registration Chair Annaleah Moore.
Participants will learn about the law and what is now required of them at polling stations. This is one of the many programs the Iowa Democratic Party is sponsoring to protect Iowans’ right to vote.
“The fact of the matter is, far too many Iowans are going to show up at the polls not knowing the new, burdensome requirements,” said Iowa Democratic Party Spokesperson Tess Seger. “We’re fighting every day to overturn these laws that prevent law abiding citizens from exercising their most important right. In the meantime, we’re doing everything we can to ensure that every Iowan is heard at the ballot box.”
