The Organizing Director will be responsible for managing and leading a group of Organizers running a relational organizing-centric program. The Organizing Director will set goals, develop training materials and systems, and lead the Organizing Team in implementing an innovative relational organizing program statewide in support of Democrats up and down the ballot.

The Iowa Senate Democrats (Senate Majority Fund) is seeking passionate, motivated campaign managers to manage highly competitive and targeted state senate campaigns in 2022 This position starts immediately and will report to the Senate Majority Fund Deputy Executive Director.

Voter Protection Director

The Iowa Democratic Party is seeking a talented Voter Protection Director to ensure that all eligible Iowans are able to cast their ballot. Our right to vote is fundamental to all that we hope to accomplish; the Voter Protection Director is a crucial role that will develop, implement, and manage a robust voter protection program, ensuring free and fair elections in Iowa. The Coordinated Campaign Director will manage the coordination between multiple campaigns across the ballot and a variety of local, statewide, and national stakeholders, and candidates should have a proven record of success of collaboration and consensus-building to achieve common goals.

Iowa House Democrats Campaign Manager

The Iowa House Democrats are hiring campaign managers to manage targeted State House campaigns in 2022. Campaign managers will be responsible for executing a campaign plan, including field and finance plans. The campaign manager will also be responsible for managing the candidate’s time, ensuring the campaign is achieving its goals, and reporting frequently to central staff members.

Communications Advisor

The Iowa Democratic Party is seeking a Communications Advisor to execute rapid response communications strategies that highlight the work of President Biden and Democrats up and down the ballot, hold Republicans accountable, and conduct general rapid response. In addition, they will work closely with the Communications Director on local media outreach, coordinate with other state party staff, and work closely with local and national partners to plan and execute both short- and long-term communications plans.
