Organizing Director

The OD will be responsible for assisting county parties and constituency caucuses in building the volunteer capacity of IDP. The OD will develop specific plans with the Director of Campaigns for each target area. Following the building of the Coordinated table, the OD will work with the Coordinated Campaign to build the coordinated organizing plan. The OD reports directly to the Senior Advisor/Director of Campaigns and will work closely with the rest of the IDP Senior Staff, the Directors of House Truman Fund and Senate Majority Fund, and congressional campaigns to achieve IDP’s organizing goals for the 2024 cycle.

Communications and Political Assistant

The Iowa Democratic Party (IDP) is seeking a Political and Communications Assistant. This position will provide general support to the Communications Department including assisting with the production of content as needed, handling logistics for department responsibilities, and taking tasks off the Communications Director’s plate. Additionally, the Communications and Political Assistant will work with the Communications Director on managing the IDP’s surrogate and storyteller programs. This includes working with constituency caucuses and Democratic allies to find credible storytellers and assisting county parties through the creation of a Party Speaker’s Bureau.

Research Tracker

The Research Tracker is responsible for identifying and attending opponents’ public appearances in order to get their remarks on the record and hold them accountable. They will coordinate closely with the DNC research team to plan and execute tracking assignments for the 2024 cycle and report out findings in a timely manner.

Candidate Services Director

The Iowa House Democrats are looking for a full-time Candidate Services Director to work closely with the Caucus Director, Finance Director, and Digital Director to help statehouse candidates launch and manage their campaigns.
