Deputy Data Director

The 2020 Iowa Democratic Coordinated Campaign (Battleground Iowa) is seeking a highly motivated, passionate and talented Deputy Data Director for our statewide program. Battleground Iowa will play a crucial role in the highly-watched Presidential campaign, targeted U.S. Senate race to defeat Joni Ernst, four competitive congressional races, opportunities to flip control in the Iowa legislature, and elect Democrats at the local level in all of Iowa’s 99 counties.

This is a general election position through November 15, 2020 and reports to the Coordinated Senior Data Director.

Early Vote Director

The Early Vote Director will be responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of the coordinated campaign’s Early Vote program, an operation designed to help Iowans navigate the early voting process and track all developments relating to it across the state. With a tightly-contested Presidential campaign and U.S. Senate race against Joni Ernst, four competitive U.S. House seats, and opportunities to flip control of the Iowa legislature, Iowa will host highly-targeted races up-and-down the ballot. This position will be tasked with overseeing Early Vote planning, creating effective tracking systems, and spearheading interdepartmental projects involving the execution of our Early Vote program.

This is a general election position through November 15, 2020 and will report to the Voter Contact Director.

Iowa Coalitions Director

The Iowa coordinated campaign is seeking a State Level Coalition Director. The Coalition Director will serve as an essential part of our outreach team in Iowa working closely with community stakeholders and grassroots activists to support the overall goals of the campaign. The Coalition Director will create an emphasis on intradepartmental goals of broadening our coalition to win, growing our support, engaging our allied partners and supporting our in-state infrastructures.

This is a general election position through November 15, 2020.

Research Tracker

The research tracker is responsible for attending events, assisting with research projects including media collection and transcription. The tracker will share details of events on targeted candidates; audio and/or video record the events; prepare detailed memos on the topics covered at the event; and promptly upload the audio and/or video.

Digital Organizing Director

The Iowa Digital Organizing Director will work with the Mobilization Director to provide content and collaborate on the implementation of a community-based, volunteer-driven organization. They will work with key stakeholders to uplift messaging and voting guidance for distribution.

Deputy Operations Director

The Coordinated Campaign is seeking a Deputy Operations Director. The Deputy Operations Director will serve as an essential part of the Iowa operations team, working closely with operations staff to manage budgeting and logistics.

Regional Get Out The Vote Lead

Regional GOTV Leads will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of the coordinated campaign’s GOTV program, a statewide operation designed to maximize the performance of Iowa Democrats in the 2020 cycle, within their assigned regions. With a tightly-contested Presidential campaign and U.S. Senate race against Joni Ernst, four competitive U.S. House seats, and opportunities to flip control of the Iowa legislature, Iowa will host highly-targeted races up-and-down the ballot. This position will be tasked with assisting with logistical preparation, operating statewide accountability systems, and working with local Organizing teams in support of the GOTV program. 

This is a general election position through November 15, 2020 and will report to the GOTV Director.

Voter Protection Director

We seek a talented Voter Protection Director to ensure that all eligible Iowans are able to cast their ballot. Our right to vote is fundamental to all that we hope to accomplish; the Voter Protection Director is a crucial role that will develop, implement, and manage a robust voter protection program, ensuring free and fair elections in Iowa.

This is a general election position through November 15, 2020 and will report to the Coordinated Campaign Director.

Get Out The Vote Director

The GOTV Director will be responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of the coordinated campaign’s GOTV program, a statewide operation designed to maximize the performance of Iowa Democrats in the 2020 election cycle. With a tightly-contested Presidential campaign and  U.S. Senate race against Joni Ernst, four competitive U.S. House seats, and opportunities to flip control of the Iowa legislature, Iowa will host highly-targeted races up-and-down the ballot. This position will be tasked with overseeing logistical preparation, creating statewide accountability systems, and facilitating interdepartmental collaboration in support of the GOTV program.

This is a general election position through November 15, 2020 and will report to the Voter Contact Director.

Coordinated Mobilization Director

The Iowa Mobilization Director will be responsible for creating and implementing a digital mobilization program that will feature a highly-watched, targeted U.S. Senate race to defeat Joni Ernst, four competitive congressional races, opportunities to flip control in the Iowa legislature, and elect Democrats at the local level in all of Iowa’s 99 counties. This is a general election position through November 15, 2020 and reports to the Coordinated Campaign Director.

Coordinated Organizer

Organizers lead the coordinated campaign’s voter turnout and volunteer recruitment efforts, serving as the face of national, statewide, and local candidates in communities across the state. Iowa’s 2020 Coordinated Campaign includes a targeted U.S. Senate race to defeat Joni Ernst, four competitive congressional races, opportunities to flip control in the Iowa legislature, and elect Democrats at the local level in all of Iowa’s 99 counties. This is a general election position through November 15 and reports to a Regional Organizing Director.
