DES MOINES — Today, Donald Trump and Washington Republicans filed briefs at the Supreme Court to repeal the Affordable Care Act and end pre-existing condition health protections for more than 130 million Americans, including 1.3 million Iowans. David Young voted for the Trump Tax bill that laid the groundwork for this anti-health care lawsuit. IDP communications director Mandy McClure released the following statement:

As if undoing the Affordable Care Act during a global pandemic is bad enough, Republicans don’t have an alternative health care system if their reckless suit is successful.
