Today, the Iowa Democratic Party launched a petition to hold Governor Reynolds accountable for the Reynolds Budget Crisis and calling for an audit to examine her fiscal mismanagement and possibly illegal financial gimmicks.
Under Reynolds’ leadership, massive tax giveaways to special interests have led to budget deficits and devastating cuts to services Iowa business and families depend on. On top of that, she may have illegally transferred funds to deny accountability for her budgetary disaster.
The Iowa Democratic Party is inviting Iowans across the political spectrum to sign this petition to hold their Governor accountable for the Reynolds Budget Crisis.
“Iowa families and businesses are the ones paying the price for Kim Reynolds’ disastrous mismanagement of Iowa’s budget,” said Iowa Democratic Party Chair Troy Price. “That’s why concerned Iowans across the political spectrum are coming together to hold the Governor accountable for the Reynolds Budget Crisis.”
