Des Moines, IA — The Iowa Democratic Party is thrilled to share that our upcoming Liberty and Justice Celebration with keynote speaker Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear is now sold out.
“The momentum in the Democratic Party is amazing to see right now and our sold-out LJ is just the latest sign,” said Iowa Democratic Party Chair Rita Hart. “I am excited that hundreds of Iowa Democrats will come together to hear from our strong slate of candidates and from Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear, with his tremendous record of standing up for working families and putting people over politics.”
Following the launch of Vice-President’s Harris campaign, IDP has had its best week of online fundraising of the year, volunteers have walked into offices asking how to help, and now the LJ is officially sold out.
Additional speakers at this year’s event will include: Iowa House Democratic Leader Jennifer Konfrst, Iowa Senate Democratic Leader Pam Jochum, Iowa Auditor Rob Sand, IA-04 Congressional Candidate Ryan Melton, IA-03 Congressional Candidate Lanon Baccam and IA-02 Congressional Candidate Sarah Corkery.
The program will begin at 5 p.m., dinner will be served to guests at 5:30 p.m. and the speaker portion of the program will start at 6 p.m. Doors will open to the media at 4 p.m.
