Governor Terry McAuliffe to Join First Campaign for Iowa “All Hands on Deck” Volunteer Event
“All Hands on Deck” is a New Event Series Launched by the Campaign for Iowa to Fire Up Our Democratic Grassroots Ahead of the Critical 2018 Midterms.
This coming Tuesday, the Campaign for Iowa will launch the first “All Hands on Deck” volunteer event with special guest former Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe. “All Hands on Deck” is a brand new series of events organized by the Campaign for Iowa to provide our grassroots supporters the opportunity to connect with Democratic leaders focused on getting out the vote in 2018 by doing the hard work of our Democracy: making calls, knocking doors, and organizing in our communities.
“We have been saying for months that the 2018 midterms are the most consequential election of our lifetimes,”said Iowa Democratic Party Chair Troy Price. “And we need all the help we can get, which is why we are so excited to launch the ‘All Hands on Deck’ series with a battle-tested leader like Governor McAuliffe. Governor McAuliffe understands better than most the difference a Governor with strong, people-first values can make for working families. We’re thrilled to welcome him to the Campaign for Iowa team!”
