“All Hands on Deck” is a New Event Series Launched by the Campaign for Iowa to Fire Up Our Democratic Grassroots Ahead of the Critical 2018 Midterms.
This coming Saturday, the Campaign for Iowa will hold the next “All Hands on Deck” event with special guest former Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley. “All Hands on Deck” is a new series of events organized by the Campaign for Iowa to provide our grassroots supporters the opportunity to connect with Democratic leaders focused on getting out the vote for Democrats in 2018 by doing the hard work of our Democracy: making calls, knocking doors, and organizing in our communities.
“This is one of the most critical elections of our lifetime, which is why we are so happy to welcome our friend Governor Martin O’Malley back to the state of Iowa for our All Hands on Deck series,” said Iowa Democratic Party Chair Troy Price. “Governor O’Malley knows better than most how important it is that we restore strong, people first leadership here in Iowa. We’re thrilled to welcome him to the Campaign for Iowa team!”
“Iowans need Fred Hubbell, Rita Hart, and Democrats up and down the ticket to fight for them in Des Moines and D.C., but we’ll only make that happen if each and every Democrat steps up. Actions, not words, are what will turn the tide this cycle, which is why I’m coming out to take action with my friends in Davenport,” said Governor O’Malley.
