Today, Iowa Democratic Party Chair Troy Price released the following statement on the results from the 2017 municipal elections in Iowa:
“Yesterday’s vote was another step in securing a brighter future for the state of Iowa. I want to extend heartfelt thank you to all the great Democrats who ran to make their communities better and hearty congratulations to all the Democrats who were elected last night. From Muscatine to Sioux City, in communities large and small, Democrats stand ready to create real change at the local level. The Iowa Democratic Party is committed to doing right by the people of Iowa, and we look forward to continuing the momentum from last night’s wins all the way to next November.”
