FACT CHECK: Zach Nunn’s Campaign Pocketed Thousands from CCP-Owned Conglomerate Buying U.S. Farmland
SHOT: In a new ad, Zach Nunn claims that he’s standing up to China and their efforts to buy U.S. farmland.
CHASER: Nunn has accepted thousands of dollars in campaign contributions from Syngenta, a Chinese-state-owned agriculture giant that has bought up approximately 1500 acres of US farmland. And Nunn voted to make it easier for China to take advantage of Iowa farmers, voting to cut the office that holds China accountable for its trade manipulation and economic warfare.
No matter what he tells Iowans, it’s clear Nunn is just another Washington politician who isn’t looking out for Iowa families.
