DES MOINES – A new clip from CNN shows Ashley Hinson literally running away from CNN reporter Manu Raju as he tries to ask Hinson why she has voted repeatedly to continue the war in Iran.
It comes after a new report from MeidasTouch News found Ashley Hinson was “rewarded” by Big Oil companies with an additional $20,000 in campaign contributions after she voted a seventh time to continue the war in Iran. Additionally, despite saying she wants an immediate end to the war, Hinson said she would support another major offensive after the midterms in an interview with ABC News over the weekend.
Key context: Hinson cast her seventh vote to continue the war in Iran just weeks ago as it devastated Iowa with “record diesel prices,” “surg[ing]” gas costs, fertilizer prices “near peak levels,” and inflation higher than the national average. She has repeatedly defended the war in Iran and downplayed the impact on Iowans, calling it “out of sight, out of mind” as Iowans struggle to pay their bills. ” She has raked in hundreds of thousands of dollars from Big Oil, and now those companies are seeing record profits up to $14 billion from the Iran war.
