DES MOINES – With less than three weeks until Election Day, Iowans are souring on Ashley Hinson, calling her “out of touch” as their costs soar, according to a new report from MS Now of an Iowa focus group featuring Trump 2024 voters.
Despite Hinson’s desperate (and failing) effort to distract Iowans from her seven votes to continue the war in Iran and five votes to keep in place the chaotic tariffs that are driving up costs, Iowans are seeing through it. They’re saying she’s a “yes woman” who is “changing her stance while she’s behind in the polls” making it “hard to know really where she stands” because she will do and say anything to get money and power, even if it means hurting Iowans.
Meanwhile, they’re alarmed that as Hinson has voted to raise their costs, she’s “still a millionaire” who has “got a lot of money and [is] still getting a lot of money.”

To be clear: Ashley Hinson reports holding as much as $5 million in private insurance stock on her personal financial disclosure (PFD) that she herself filed and made as much as $1 million in dividends last year alone.
