DES MOINES – Today, a new report from MeidasTouch News revealed that Ashley Hinson raked in hundreds of thousands from Big Oil companies then voted seven times to continue the Iran War. While Iowans are paying record-high prices for gas and diesel, Hinson’s Big Oil donors are reporting “their highest level [of protifs] in years.”
“Ashley Hinson is taking hundreds of thousands dollars from Big Oil while voting seven times to continue the war in Iran because she cares more about herself and her donors than the Iowans paying record-high prices for gas and diesel,” said Iowa Democratic Party spokesperson Drew Myers. “Iowans frustrated with high costs are going to reject her corruption this November.”
Key Context: Last week, Hinson cast her seventh vote to continue the war in Iran as it devastates Iowa with “record diesel prices,” “surg[ing]” gas costs, fertilizer prices “near peak levels,” and inflation higher than the national average.
