ICYMI: Hinson “Went Silent at Repeated Questions About Whether it Was Time to End the [Iran] War”
Politico: “Flipping Pork Burgers at the Iowa State Fair Earlier This Month, Hinson Was Glad to Discuss Her Technique with the Spatula […] But She Went Silent at Repeated Questions About Whether it Was Time to End the [Iran] War”
Hinson Has Voted Six Times to Continue the War in Iran That is Hurting Iowans
DES MOINES – Ashley Hinson is refusing to tell Iowans whether she thinks the costly war in Iran should end, even as gas, diesel, and fertilizer prices continue rising and U.S. servicemembers remain at-risk, according to a report from Politico.
At the Iowa State Fair, Hinson “went silent” and ignored repeated reporter questions about the Middle East conflict as Iowans are demanding an end to the war.
Key context: Ashley Hinson has voted six times to continue the Iran War. She has publicly defended the war numerous times, despite admitting in private that it’s becoming a “political liability.” Three Iowans have lost their lives in the conflict, and Iowans in every corner of the state are dealing with an affordability crisis due to the war.
Iowans are watching: Just last week, on the six month anniversary of the conflict, Iowa veterans gathered in Cedar Rapids to hold Hinson accountable for her role in continuing the war.
Ashley Hinson is a Staunch Supporter of the Costly Iran war:
- Hinson has voted to continue the Iran war six times.
- Hinson has publicly defended the war in Iran many times, despite admitting in private that it’s becoming a “political liability.”
- Hinson has raked in tens of thousands of dollars of campaign contributions from the Big Oil companies that are profiting from the Iran war.
