Ashley Hinson Lives Lavishly Using Campaign Funds While the Hinson-Backed Iran War Squeezes Iowans at the Gas Pump

In This Week’s Edition of the Ashley Accountability Alert, a New Report Finds Ashley Hinson Spent Nearly $110,000 of Campaign Funds on Lavish Trips and Fine Dining as Iowans Struggle With Record-High Gas Prices Because of the Hinson-Backed War

DES MOINES – This week, Ashley Hinson’s expensive tastes were revealed in a new report that found her campaign has spent tens of thousands of dollars on upscale restaurants and “lavish” five-star resorts even as she tells Iowans that she’s a “working mom” who knows “what is facing our families here in Iowa.”

Meanwhile, Iowans are having to dig deeper into their budgets to pay for “skyrocketing” gas prices that are surging past $4 a gallon because of the Hinson-backed Iran war.

But that only scratches the surface of Hinson’s bad week…

  • First, a video of another Iowan calling out Ashley Hinson for blocking the release of the Epstein Files has gone viral – this time from the Iowa State Fair. The video has now racked up 1.7M views, 231.4K likes, and 2.4K comments on TikTok alone.
  • Hinson is facing increasingly more questions from Iowans on her decision to block the release of the Epstein Files. Last week, three Iowans called into her telephone town hall demanding to know why she fought against releasing the Epstein Files.
  • Notably, this is not the first video to go viral as Iowans push Hinson to explain her decision to delay the release of the Epstein Files. Earlier this month, Hinson ignored repeated questions about why Hinson worked for months to block the release of the files.
  • Then, a new report from MeidasTouch News has revealed a pattern of Ashley Hinson’s campaign spending tens of thousands of dollars on lavish trips and fine dining, totalling nearly $110,000 dollars.
  • According to the report, Hinson’s expensive campaign tab includes:
  • Ashley Hinson has voted to continue the war in Iran six times even as it forces Iowans to pay for more gas at the pump. She has repeatedly voted to drive up the cost of everyday essentials, voting to drive up healthcare costs and support chaotic tariffs that are hurting Iowa farmers and making everything more expensive – all while increasing her wealth by up to ten times since she got to Washington.

MeidasTouch News: Ashley Hinson spent hundreds of thousands of dollars of campaign funds on luxury trips, fine dining

  • Despite calling herself a “working mom” and saying she feels Americans’ pain in Trump’s economy, Iowa Republican Rep. and U.S. Senate candidate Ashley Hinson spent nearly $110,000 dollars of campaign funds on lavish trips and fine dining, and staying in the most upscale hotels in the country.
  • While in DC, Hinson’s campaign spent over $80,000 on meals at steakhouses, upscale Italian restaurants, and popular spots for politicians and lobbyists.
  • Hinson also took lavish vacations to some of the most exclusive luxury resorts in the U.S. as recently as 2026, with her campaign spending nearly $10,000 for lodging at beach resorts, opulent Vegas casinos, expansive retreats, one of the top ski lodges in the world, and a premier Beverly Hills Hotel.
  • Despite her lavish lifestyle, Hinson recently called herself a “working mom,” a “minivan-driving mom” and said, “I know what is facing our families here in Iowa.”
  • Hinson’s net worth has increased by up to $7 million while she has been in office due to her husband’s ownership of individual stock in his private company.
