IDP Launches ZachPlahn.com to Expose Carpetbagger Zach Lahn’s Frequent Flights to Kansas

DES MOINES – Today, on the anniversary of carpetbagger and career political operative Zach Lahn selling his Kansas home to a donor for one dollar, the Iowa Democratic Party launched ZachPlahn.com, a new online video game reminding Iowans about Lahn’s frequent flights to Kansas.

On the site, Iowans will learn about how Lahn spends more of his time in Kansas than Iowa, only registered to vote in Iowa right before the deadline to run for governor, and “voted in Kansas in 2018, 2020 and 2022.” Lahn was exposed for using his private plane to travel weekly between Iowa and Kansas, and said he would only “move to and live in Iowa” if elected. The site also highlights how Lahn lied about his long career in politics and wants to continue Kim Reynolds’ failed status quo.

From Iowa Democratic Party spokesperson Terra Hernandez:

“Carpetbagger and career political operative Zach Lahn has spent his campaign playing games with Iowans — lying about where he lives and refusing to answer basic questions about his flights to Kansas. Now, Iowans can go to ZachPlahn.com to learn why Lahn’s record won’t fly with voters in November.”
