IDP Chair Rita Hart Issues Statement on the Death of Iowa First Lady Billie Lee Ray
Des Moines – Iowa Democratic Party Chair Rita Hart issued the following statement regarding the death of Iowa First Lady Billie Lee Ray.
“Billie Lee Ray represented the best of Iowa through her philanthropic and charitable work. She was a public servant through-and-through who was beloved by so many Iowans. Join me in praying that the Ray family find comfort knowing she had a tremendous impact on our state and the people who live here.”
