Ashley Hinson Finds Her Senate Campaign in “Damage Control” With Only 10 Days Until Election Day

In This Week’s Edition of the Ashley Accountability Alert, Hinson Makes a “Jaw-Dropping,” “Tone Deaf” Plea for Gas Money for Her Campaign Bus While Iowans Across the State Call Her Out for Jacking Up Costs

DES MOINES – This week, Ashley Hinson blanketed headlines for all the wrong reasons with just 10 days until Election Day after begging Iowans – whose costs she voted to raise – to help donate “a little gas money for our bus” during a campaign stop as part of her bus tour.

Meanwhile, Iowa farmers and local leaders across Iowa slammed Hinson for driving up their costs by voting seven times to continue the war in Iran and five times to keep in place chaotic tariffs.

  • In an interview with NBC News, Hinson refused to acknowledge that Iowans are paying more than $6/gallon and $4/gallon for gas and diesel, repeatedly dodging questions asking her if she’s feeling the high cost of fuel on the campaign trail.
  • Next, local leaders in Sioux City joined each other ahead of  President Trump’s Iowa rally to boost a desperate Ashley Hinson to call Hinson’s votes raising costs.
  • KTIV: “Democratic State Representative JD Scholten, Democratic candidate for Woodbury County Supervisor Jody House, and community leaders gathered to discuss high gas prices and to protest Ashley Hinson’s support of President Donald Trump.
