Things That Are Older Than Zach Lahn’s Voter Registration In Iowa
DES MOINES – On this day two years ago, Kansas carpetbagger and career political operative Zach Lahn registered to vote in Iowa — “just in time to meet the requirement” to run for governor. We wanted to celebrate Lahn’s anniversary by compiling a list of things that are older than his Iowa voting record:
- Kim Reynolds holding the title of most unpopular governor in the country: 2 years and 11 months old
- Caitlin Clark’s all-time scoring record: 2 years and 8 months old
- Brock Purdy playing in a Super Bowl: 2 years and 8 months old
- Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship: 3 years and 2 months old
- NCAA football returning for consoles: 2 years and 2 months old
Lahn voted in Kansas in 2018, 2020, and 2022, and “regularly flies in and out of Wichita to attend” campaign events in Iowa. He was exposed for spending more time in Kansas than Iowa, still holds a job in Kansas as president of a failing private school, and said he would try to “be in Iowa as much as humanly possible” if elected.
