IDP Statement on Zach Lahn Losing the KTIV Debate
SIOUX CITY – IDP Chair Rita Hart released the following statement in response to Kansas carpetbagger and career political operative Zach Lahn’s loss in tonight’s debate:
“Tonight, Iowans watched Kansas carpetbagger and career political operative Zach Lahn prove why he’s the wrong choice for Iowa. Lahn failed to give a straight answer about why he chose a fraudster who is under criminal investigation to be his running mate, demonstrating that he doesn’t have the judgement to be Iowa’s next governor. Lahn doubled down on gutting public school funding, continuing Kim Reynolds’ billion dollar budget deficit, and even endorsed a plan to jack up the sales tax. Lahn has spent his entire campaign lying to Iowans, and that’s why they’ll send him home to Kansas in November.”
