ICYMI: Ashley Hinson Doubles Down on Iran War, Says She “Would Continue to Vote Against a War Powers Resolution” to to End the War in Iran

KWWL: “Hinson Said She Would Continue to Vote Against a War Powers Resolution as She Has Previously”

DES MOINES – Last night, Ashley Hinson “defended” her seven votes to continue the war in Iran even as it devastates Iowa with “record diesel prices,” “surg[ing]” gas costs, fertilizer prices “near peak levels,” and inflation higher than the national average.

Despite claiming she wants an immediate end to the war, she “balked” when asked if she “would again vote against a war powers resolution.”

Meanwhile, Hinson made an “acknowledgement” that her five votes to keep in place chaotic tariffs are causing “economic fallout” in Iowa by hiking fuel and input costs and destroying crop markets for farmers.
