WATCH: Zach Lahn Doubles Down on Dangerous Plan to End School Vaccine Standards in Iowa
DES MOINES – In a new interview with KCCI, Kansas carpetbagger and career political operative Zach Lahn once again pushed his dangerous plan to end school vaccine standards in Iowa, which experts say would “increase the risk of outbreaks, hospitalizations and school disruptions.”
Lahn’s call to end school vaccine standards would put public health protections for Iowa kids on the chopping block and “has concerned public health experts who fear a resurgence of preventable diseases.” Lahn has also pledged to ban all mRNA vaccines in Iowa, which are a promising new cancer treatment that can prevent cancer from returning or spreading.

KCCI: “There was a bill that came up that would eliminate the requirement for kids attending school to have to have vaccines. If you were governor, is that something that you would support?”
Lahn: “Yes.”
KCCI: “So you would support. Would it be something that you would call for on your own, or if a lawmaker brought it up, you would support that decision?”
Lahn: “I think lawmakers will bring this up. And you know, I’ve been on the record about this for a very long time.”
From Iowa Democratic Party spokesperson Terra Hernandez:
“Kansas carpetbagger and career political operative Zach Lahn has found his closing pitch: putting public health protections for kids on the chopping block to push his own extreme agenda. Iowa parents can’t trust Lahn’s reckless political stunts that put kids and communities at risk and make our state sicker in the process.”
