IDP Launches Billboard Calling Out Kansas Fan Zach Lahn Ahead of Iowa-Kansas Game
DYERSVILLE – Today, the Iowa Democratic Party launched a billboard in Dyersville reminding voters that Zach Lahn lives in Kansas and cheers for his fellow Jayhawks. Iowans will see the billboard on the turn off to the Field of Dreams movie site, running ahead of and during the Iowa Hawkeyes baseball game against the Kansas Jayhawks on October 10.
Here’s what Iowans in Dyersville will see:
Lahn spends more time in Kansas than Iowa, still holds a job in Kansas as president of a failing private school, and said he would try to “be in Iowa as much as humanly possible” if elected. He voted in Kansas in 2018, 2020, and 2022, and “regularly flies in and out of Wichita to attend” campaign events in Iowa.

“We’re making sure Iowans in Dyersville and Hawkeye fans headed to the Iowa-Kansas game know that Zach Lahn lives in Kansas and roots for his fellow Kansans. Iowans don’t want a part-time resident as the next governor, and that’s why they’ll send Lahn home to Kansas in November.”
