Iowa Can’t Afford Ashley: Gas Prices in Iowa Hit $4/Gallon Because of Hinson-Backed Iran War

KGAN: “Iowa Drivers Are Paying About 20 Cents More Per Gallon for Gasoline Than They Were a Week Ago”

Washington Post: “At Above $4 a Gallon, Gas Prices Have Never Been This High So Late in the Year”

DES MOINES – Gas prices across Iowa are surging past $4 per gallon because of the Ashely Hinson-backed Iran war. In the last week, Iowa gas prices are up 20 cents per gallon, sending the price to the highest ever this late in the year.

Key context: Ashley Hinson has voted to continue the war in Iran six times even as it forces Iowans to pay for more gas at the pump. She has repeatedly voted to drive up the cost of everyday essentials, voting to drive up healthcare costs and support chaotic tariffs that are hurting Iowa farmers and making everything more expensive – all while increasing her wealth by up to ten times since she got to Washington.
