IDP Chair Rita Hart Statement on the Death of U.S. Air Force Major Brad Hovey
DES MOINES – Today, Iowa Democratic Party Chair Rita Hart released the following statement after learning Iowan and U.S. Air Force Major Brad Hovey died during a crash at Edwards Air Force Base:
“The loss of Major Brad Hovey, a brave soldier and Iowan who served his state and country, is heartbreaking.
The IDP family’s thoughts are with Brad’s family and friends as they grieve this painful loss.
Blessings on all of our troops who continue to put themselves in harm’s way day after day. We are forever thankful for Brad’s bravery and service.”
