60 Days later, Ashley Hinson Still Supporting Iran War Hiking Up Gas and Fertilizer Costs

DES MOINES – Sixty days after the start of the Iran war that is sending gas and fertilizer prices skyrocketing, Ashley Hinson is continuing to vote against curtailing the conflict.

“Ashley Hinson is forcing Iowans to foot the bill for another endless war in the Middle East that no one in Iowa voted for,” said Iowa Democratic Party spokesperson Drew Myers. “In the 60 days since the war was launched, sky-high gas prices are eating into family budgets and rising diesel and fertilizer costs are worsening the ag economy in Iowa. Hinson promised she wouldn’t support a long conflict, yet she is refusing to put Iowans ahead of politics by continuing to back the war.”
