Randy Feenstra Receives Not-So-Happy Birthday Wishes from Iowans

DES MOINES – It’s Randy Feenstra’s birthday, and we wanted to celebrate by rounding up the not-so-well wishes members of his own party have sent his way since launching his campaign for governor. From social media to the news, Iowa Republicans haven’t been shy about letting no-show Feenstra know how big of a failure he is and why he can’t ever be trusted near the governor’s office.

Here’s a reminder about how Iowans are thinking of Randy Feenstra:

• Adam Steen: “It’s good to see all five gubernatorial candidates here. Just kidding. Where’s Randy Feenstra? He talks about how tall he is and nobody cares.”

• Zach Lahn: “Randy Feenstra – The Moms for Liberty have mentioned they are having trouble getting you to confirm for the debate on the 27th.  Eddie, Brad, Adam and I will all be there! Schedules are busy so I thought I would offer to come pick you up in the IOWA FIRST Flyer.  Heck, we all could come pick you up! Look at how much fun this AI photo shows us having!  It’d be a blast. LMK”

• Brad Sherman: “Where’s Randy? That’s quickly becoming the dominant question in this Governors race … One thing you can be sure of with me: I’m not afraid to talk to the voters – or my opponents.”

• Conservative columnist Althea Cole: “‘You’re going to lose,’ I told him … If Randy Feenstra is our candidate, Iowa Republicans will lose the governorship in 2026.”

• Worth County GOP: “What is he using the money for? It doesn’t seem to be for traveling. Don’t let big money and flashy campaign ads determine your vote.”

• Trent Thevenot: “Yet another event former Congressperson Randy Feenstra has declined to attend. Most candidates would love the opportunity to get in front of a large crowd. This is the kind of leadership we can look forward to if Invisible Randy is elected to be our governor.”

• Galva resident Cathie Hahn: “I’m sorry that Randy Feenstra didn’t show up. I really kind of wanted to hear him, because I probably won’t vote for him again. And that’s my personal opinion. I haven’t seen a lot out of him, let’s put it that way.”
