NEW: Hinson Claims Tariffs Crushing Iowa Farmers Are “Good for Iowa Producers”

Des Moines, Iowa — Ashley Hinson is once again defending the chaotic tariffs that are slamming Iowa farmers — this time saying they are “good for Iowa producers,” even as her constituents feel their “intense impacts” and face “higher input costs” that are resulting in “economic shocks.”

This comes just weeks after Hinson doubled down on her “politically driven, chaotic trade policy,” saying that things are “moving in the right direction” even as farmers suffer “death by a thousand paper cuts” due to Hinson-backed policies that are “subsidizing [their] competitors.”
