IDP Chair Rita Hart Issues Statement on the Death of Bill Knapp

Des Moines – Iowa Democratic Party Chair Rita Hart issued the following statement regarding the death of Bill Knapp:

“Bill Knapp epitomizes why we call his the Greatest Generation. He joined the Navy at 17 and served at Okinawa. When he came home, he built a successful business and continuously gave back to his community. At IDP, we’ll always be grateful for his help creating our current home on Fleur Drive. We join Iowans in mourning a local legend and send our thoughts and prayers to Susan and his family.”
