IDP Chair Rita Hart Issues Statement on Trump’s Bailout of Argentine Farmers
DES MOINES – Today, Iowa Democratic Party Chair Rita Hart issued the following statement on Donald Trump’s $20 billion bailout of Argentina:
“The $20 billion bailout of Argentina is a great deal for Wall Street speculators and Argentine politicians, and a disaster for Iowa farmers and our ag economy. It makes no sense to give money so that other countries can sell China soybeans. What do Ashley Hinson, Randy Feenstra, Mariannette Miller-Meeks, and Zach Nunn have to say about this bailout? Or are they just going to be rubber stamps, no matter what this administration does? Iowa needs independent leaders who will get our economy growing again.”
