Randy Feenstra Attends Republican Fundraiser During Government Shutdown

Council Bluffs, IA — While the nation holds its breath on the impact of the ongoing Republican shutdown in D.C., Randy Feenstra was the guest of honor at a Republican fundraiser tonight.

While Feenstra is courting wealthy and powerful insiders, deployed Iowa National Guard troops are not being paid during this shutdown that Feenstra helped create. 

“Instead of doing his job and working for Iowans, Randy Feenstra was the guest of honor at a fundraiser tonight while the government remains shut down and our deployed troops are going without pay,” said Iowa Democratic Party Spokesperson Paige Godden. “Randy Feenstra needs to stop whining and partying with wealthy Republican insiders and get back to D.C. so he can do his job.”
