Hinson Out-of-Touch as she Claims Iowans are Living the ‘American Dream’ 

Iowa is 49th in the nation in economic development, 48th in personal income growth, and has one of the fastest-growing cancer rates in the nation

Des Moines – Today, Iowa Democratic Party Chair Rita Hart issued the following statement:

“Ashley Hinson has totally lost touch with Iowa if she thinks our state is going in the right direction. Iowa is 49th in the nation in economic development, 48th in personal income growth and has one of the fastest-growing cancer rates in the nation, yet Hinson claimed today Republican leadership has restored the ‘American dream.’ I don’t know what kind of dream world Hinson is living in, but we must do better than this. Iowa Democrats are ready to bring in new leaders who have fresh ideas to change direction and ensure a brighter and more prosperous future for all Iowans.”
