Will Mariannette Miller-Meeks use this week at home to keep her town hall promise?

Miller-Meeks promised Iowans she would hold an in-person town hall more than two months ago

On Thursday, Marianette Miller-Meeks voted to threaten rural hospitals with closure, rip health care away from over 113,000 Iowans, raise home energy costs, kill jobs, and keep interest rates high by increasing the national debt by over $3 trillion. The House of Representatives now is in recess until July 14.

In April, Miller Meeks told Americans for Prosperity she would hold an in-person town hall: “Just like I’ve done every single year, we’ll do in-person town halls.” 

Is this just another broken promise like protecting Medicaid and actually living in her district or does Miller-Meeks have the courage to defend her vote to her constituents?
