Iowa Democrats, Republicans, and DART partner to offer free transportation to Iowa Caucusgoers
DES MOINES — In a continued effort to make this year’s Iowa Caucuses the most accessible to date, the Iowa Democratic Party is excited to announce a partnership that will allow Caucusgoers in Central Iowa access to transportation on February 3, 2020. Starting at 4pm CST on caucus night, DART will be providing free rides on all Local, Express, and On Call services. Free rides will be provided until the end of DART service that day.
“This is another great development that we’re happy to announce as a Party ahead of caucus night,” said Iowa Democratic Party Chair Troy Price. “Thanks to this partnership with DART and the Iowa Republican Party, countless Iowans in Central Iowa will have a way of making it out to their local precinct.”
