In light of disturbing allegations concerning Governor Eric Greitens, the Iowa Democratic Party is calling on Kim Reynolds to denounce him and return contributions she received at the fundraiser he keynoted for her last year.
“Earlier this week, Governor Reynolds called on all of us to lead by example on sexual misconduct, now is the time for her to finally back up her words with action. We are calling on Governor Reynolds to denounce Governor Eric Greitens of Missouri and return the funds she received through the major fundraiser she hosted with him a few months ago,” said Iowa Democratic Party Chair Troy Price.
“If Governor Reynolds chooses to ‘lead’ with more empty, political rhetoric and give one of her allies a pass, it will be further proof that she does not represent or respect Iowa values.”
