In honor of Memorial Day, Iowa Democratic Party Chair Troy Price released the following statement:
“While we all look forward to spending time with friends and family today, I want to take a moment to remember the brave men and women we honor on Memorial Day. These Americans and their families give everything to keep us safe. We can never repay that debt, but we can honor them by being active defenders of our Democratic process and the values we hold dear as a nation. We should be working every day to make sure the America they defend is strong and worthy of their sacrifice.
To our Veterans who are home to celebrate this year, we are with you and here as a resource whenever you are in need.”
