This Saturday, Governor John Hickenlooper will be joining the Campaign for Iowa for canvass launches as part of the “All Hands on Deck” series. Governor Hickenlooper is traveling to Iowa to get volunteers and voters fired up ahead of the 2018 midterms.
“Seeing the amount of people who are ready to be part of this fight in Iowa over the last couple of weeks has been inspiring, and we’re excited for Governor Hickenlooper to see just how fired up Iowa Democrats are and to help us keep that momentum going,” said Iowa Democratic Party Chair Troy Price. “Governor Hickenlooper shares our people first priorities in government, and we can’t wait for him to share those with voters.”
“With just a few week to go until this critical election, now is the time for us to do all we can to elect Democrats up and down the ticket. We can’t get complacent. In Iowa, there is such a huge opportunity for progress that we need to knock on more doors, make more calls, and get people out to vote this November,” said Governor Hickenlooper.
“All Hands on Deck” is a series of events organized by the Campaign for Iowa to provide our grassroots supporters the opportunity to connect with Democratic leaders focused on getting out the vote for Democrats in 2018 by doing the hard work of our Democracy: making calls, knocking doors, and organizing in our communities.
