Today, in advance of Governor Kim Reynolds’ public budget hearing and in light of new reports that additional cuts to vital services may be needed due to the Reynolds Budget Crisis, Iowa Democratic Party Chair Troy Price released the following statement:
“Iowans are already feeling the pain from Governor Reynolds’ mismanagement of the state budget and her misplaced priorities that put tax giveaways for special interests ahead of programs Iowa families and small businesses need. This latest revenue estimate makes clear that the Reynolds Budget Crisis is only getting worse – it’s no wonder 65% of Iowans aren’t ready to give her a second term.”
