Orchid for Change, a division of Orchid Suites, invites you to join a growing network of websites that give Democrats in every state and across the nation the power to connect, communicate and deliver. This initiative is designed specifically for the political community including committees, candidates, caucuses and clubs. Each website is easy to set up and maintain, has over 140 features deemed critical to effective campaigning, and is affordable. Furthermore, it becomes part of a network of sites that can share content such as action alerts, press releases, events and news articles.For more information about the Orchid for Change initiative go to www.orchidforchange.com.
Legislator Program
The Iowa Democratic Party is partnering with Orchid for Change to offer legislators in our state a quality service that gives legislators websites that are powerful, full featured, meet business needs and serve as a communication and networking tool between subscribers. (To custom build a comparable website would cost anywhere from $30,000 - $50,000. Plus, they wouldn't have the networking capability.)Pricing:
Set-up is $250 and is a one-time charge only. Monthly subscription is $15 per month due on a quarterly basis at the beginning of each quarter, starting from the sign up date. Minimum of one year subscription necessary. Additional fees may include domain registration or transfer, email accounts and merchant fees.Terms:
Subscribers are asked to pay by credit card if possible. Accounts are charged at the beginning of each payment cycle. Invoices are issued electronically and payment is due within ten days and paid directly to Orchid Suites, Inc. All billing and payment inquires can be directed to billing@orchidsuites.net.E-Commerce
Each site comes equipped to process contributions or payments. However, each organization MUST HAVE THEIR OWN MERCHANT ACCOUNT.
