Roxanne Conlin
Roxanne Conlin has spent her life standing up to special interests for Iowa families who have been hurt by powerful forces. For more than 25 years, Roxanne has owned and managed a small law firm in Iowa. Her firm is dedicated to representing everyday people who do not have a voice. She has never worked for a single corporate interest. Instead, Roxanne has chosen to fight for family farmers squeezed by big banks, police officers wronged by the system, and workers hurt by large companies Roxanne lives in Des Moines with her husband of 45 years, James. |
Tom Fiegen
Tom Fiegen is a former state senator, an attorney and economist whose campaign is centered around creating jobs and financial security for all Iowans. In 2000 he defeated a five-term incumbent for the Iowa State Senate and went on to fight for legislation to strengthen early childhood education, campaign finance reform, and access to mental health care. Tom has four grown children, lives in Clarence and practices bankruptcy law in Cedar Rapids. |
Bob Krause
Veteran, teacher and author Bob Krause is running, “to give Iowans an opportunity for a new and different future.” He is a former Iowa State Representative and regional representative for the US Department of Transportation. He later became a professor at Iowa State University and wrote five books on transportation policy. Bob lives in Fairfield with his wife Vicky. |
Sal Mohamed
Originally from Egypt, Sal Mohamed fulfilled a dream in 1983 by becming a US citizen. “I wanted to…become part of the American society and make whatever contribution I could to our modern human civilization.” He wants, as a US Senator, to improve our schools, improve our nation’s health care system, and help improve our standing on the international stage. Sal lives in Sioux City. |
