Governor Chet Culver and Lt. Governor Patty Judge
First elected in 2006 Chet Culver and Patty Judge have worked since Day 1 to provide all Iowans with the opportunity to succeed in school, business and life. Upon election, Chet Culver, a former history and government teacher, was the only governor in the country who had worked in the classroom in the last twenty years. Patty Judge is a dedicated public servant, registered nurse and farmer. Before being elected as Iowa’s Lt. Governor she was the state’s Secretary of Agriculture. |
Attorney General Tom Miller
Tom Miller is serving in his seventh four-year term as Attorney General of Iowa. Attorney General Miller has earned a reputation for integrity, high quality legal work, and strong work on behalf of ordinary Iowans. He has a long record of achieving results through cooperation with other State Attorneys General and with local, state and federal officials, regardless of their political affiliation. |
Treasurer Michael Fitzgerald
Michael L. Fitzgerald was first elected State Treasurer of Iowa in 1982. He was born in Marshalltown, Iowa, and completed high school in Colo, Iowa. He then attended the University of Iowa and received a B.S. in Business Administration. Prior to being elected state treasurer, Fitzgerald worked as a marketing analyst for Massey Ferguson Company in Des Moines for eight years.

Secretary of State Michael Mauro
Michael Mauro was elected Iowa’s 30th Secretary of State on November 7, 2006. As Secretary of State, Mauro has carried his philosophy – from the county to the state level – of utilizing technology, simplifying services, cutting costs and eliminating the red tape that hampers the delivery and effectiveness of services to Iowans. Prior to being elected, Mauro served the residents of Polk County for nearly a decade as county auditor. He strongly believes that government should work for its citizens – not against them. |

US Rep. Bruce Braley
Congressman Braley’s election in 2006 broke the chokehold the Republicans had on the 1st district since 1979. He has gone on to win re-election by double-digits and now the Brooklyn, Iowa native stands up for our small towns and businesses in Washington. |
US Rep. David Loebsack
n 2006 Dave Loebsack beat a 30 year incumbent for the 2nd district seat. Raised in poverty, this former college teacher gives a voice in Congress to everyday Iowans. He fights for better educational opportunities and economic growth for Southeastern Iowa. As a representative of some of the hardest hit counties in the flood of 2008, he continues to be a tireless proponent of flood recovery efforts in Washington. |
US Rep. Leonard Boswell
Congressman Boswell has been serving Iowa’s 3rd District since 1996. He is a veteran and farmer and gives those groups a powerful and respected voice in the halls of Congress. |
